USA Network's MR ROBOT

Coming to USA Network on June 24th 2015 is a psychological thriller about the world of computer hackers. At first glance, I noticed that this pilot feels very 80's. Its dark, minimalistic but is set in present day. My first impression was that it had a feel of AMC's Halt and Catch Fire but only in mood.
Its hard to judge this show purely by its pilot. I think I liked it. I know that doesn't tell you much, but it did leave me wanting more out of pure curiosity.
Christian Slater returns to TV as he plays the leader of a hacker organization trying to recruit the very talented and socially inept programmer named Elliot. Elliot just doesn't fit in and feels the need to hack into everyones personal lives that he comes into contact with. He trusts no-one and is always alone. His job by day is to consult for one of the most powerful organizations in the world which he refers to as Evil Corp and by night he is a vigilante hacker who needs to correct those who do harm to the world. He is an idealist.
When approached by Mr. Robot to consult on a mind blowing hack that will rid the world of all debt by taking down Evil Corp, Elliot must decide which side he is on and whom can he trust.
